Ripstop uniform is a tried and true material that can withstand some of the toughest tasks. While the strap will certainly hold up heavy field use, if you want to ensure a long life for the strap, tt is strongly recommended to avoid submerging or continuously expose to water. Over time leather lining will breakdown and likely crack if not treated properly.
